Payne describes an uninscribed gold quarter stater, Evans type E.2 found at Eagle's Farm, Linton, in the collection of D. F. Kennard. Evans notes Kennard having a type E.2 which was found at Cox Heath, near Maidstone. [It is assumed these are the same coin]. Allen lists only the coin noted by Evans, his type Qc.63 [Mack No 71].Present whereabouts unknown. (1-3)
No further information was obtained during fieldwork regarding the exact provenance of this coin or its present whereabouts (the Kennard collection has been dispersed). (4)
