Monument record TR 15 NW 615 - Medieval Building (site and Foundations of) 12 Beer Cart Lane Canterbury
Summary
During evaluation trenching early medieval features were discovered. No datable evidence was recovered, but the construction technique is typical of Norman work found in Canterbury. The remains suggest that the building, probably substaintial, stood against the western part of Beer Cart Lane frontage with open ground to its east.
