Full Description

Probable that it was originally a medieval structure fronting Northgate that was destroyed in World War II. Consists of sequences of late medieval floor and occupational deposits in association with surviving wall structures, perhaps dating as early as the 16th century. There is a possibility that Roman and early medieval depsoits exist below these remains, as there seems to be very little post medieval disturbance(1).
