Monument record TR 23 NW 254 - Picket-Hamilton Forts at Hawkinge Airfield

Summary

Of the four known Picket-Hamilton forts built at Hawkinge only one now survives within the Kent Battle of Britan Museum which was rescue from its original location. The remains of two further forts are also located at the museum. There original location is not known.
