Summary
During evaluation trenching for the A256 Improvements a small corpus of flint-tempered pottery of early to mid Iron Age. Characterized by the presence of sherds with rusticated finishes which, on the basis of consistent regional evidence can be broadly equated with Highstead Period 3B. The sherds were found in the to soil.
