Monument record TR 23 NW 255 - Earlier Street Frontage Of Guildhall Street, Folkestone

Summary

A length of walling totalling 36m. Made of stone bonded by a coarse gritty creamy white mortar. It is aligned parallel to the modern street frontage of Guildhall Road (Aligned southeast-northwest). Evidence for cellar structures, in the form of brick rubble, suugest that this wall was the wall of the structures fronting the streets rather than just being a boundary wall.
