Findspot record TQ 74 NW 254 - Late Bronze Age hoard in an urn found at Hayeden Farm, Marden

Summary

An urn containing bronze implements and ornaments was dug up on a farm called Haye or Hayeden in 1858. The site is a mile from the junction of the River Beult and the Lesser Teise River.The collection of possibly 13 objects included a socketed axe, a sickle, pins rings and bracelets. The urn has been lost but the items are at Maidstone Museum.
