[TQ 7595 5558] Roman Pot found A.D. 1937 [NAT] (1) A 2nd c. olla in Maidstone Museum was found during the digging of foundations for a new building for Messrs. Rootes, Mill Street, Maidstone. (2) The olla, of grey ware, found December 1937, is in store in Maidstone Museum. (No accesssion number) The site falls under the showroom of Messrs. Rootes Ltd., (Len House) (3)
