Summary

Church of St Lawrence, Bidborough, small and built of sandstone. Nave and chancel Norman in origin and a narrow two bay north aisle of the 13th century. A south aisle of 1876-7 by Christain when the chancel was largely rebuilt with a new chancel arch. A lot of very late stained glass by Morris & Co 1909-25, some designs by Burne-Jones between 1880and 1891. Summary from record TQ 54 SE 117: Grade II* listed building.
