Full Description

A Belgic/early RB site comprising a series of ditches and pits stretching some 500 ft. east from the Maidstone Road, between TQ 78695788 and 78885776, was discovered during the laying of a gas main. (1) Gas main line visible across ploughed field (see 25000) but nothing of the ditches and pits revealed when the trench was dug remains. (2) Additional bibliography. (3-5)
