Monument record TQ 56 SW 112 - Tilt-Yard (Site of) Lullingstone Castle

Summary

Site of tilt-yard in the flat area in the field across the road from the gatehouse. Built by Sir John Peche one of Henry VII's champion jousters. It is not known when it was removed and no trace of it survives but the bank on the west side for spectators remains.
