Full Description

(TQ)434465. A bronze coin of Carausius (289-93 A.D.) was found at Edenbridge, on the banks of a pond known locally as "Copper Pond" because of its reputation as a source of coin finds.(1) TQ 434044649. Found in 1961 by Ian Bridle, 8 Skeynes Road, Edenbridge, who retains it, Nothing known of the earlier finds.(2)
