Monument record TR 15 NW 657 - Medieval Buildings (Stour Street, Canterbury)

Summary

During Spring 1985 an excavation took place beneath the floor of 19 Stour Street. Only the post medieval layers were fully excavated, but clay floors and the foundations of dwarf flint and mortar walls were located at a depth of 0.60 cm below the present internal floor level and may represent the remains of medieavl timber buildings
