Evaluation was carried out in 2003 (1) followed by further evaluation and mitigating work in 2006 (2). A concentration of artefacts including two handaxes and >40 debitage was located in slope-wash/ solifluction deposits in the chalk spur (link A) to the NW of the M25/A2 junction.
