Summary
During an evaluation prior to redevelopment a total of 19 flint waste flakes were found, all bar one in Pleistocence fluvial gravels. These were mostly slightly abraded and of small size, 1-3cm, although a few are in the size range 3-6cm. Some mammalian fossils (horse?) of uncertain date were also recovered during a subsequent watching brief.
