Full Description

Medium-sized general hospital, designed by Adams, Holden & Pearson and built in 1928-30. It is a stylish, neo-Georgian H-block, faced with hand made local bricks. There have been extensive additions, including a new maternity department, most of which have been post-1948, but the the original building retains its integritry.(1)
