Summary
A number of Roman surface finds were found during an evaluation at this site in 1991. Amongst the Romano-British finds were fragments of tile, coins, and sherds of amphora, Upchurch and Samian wares. Finds from other periods were also discovered but nothing more is known.

Full Description
In 1991 an evaluation at this site produced a quantity of surface finds of a number of periods. In particular Romano-British finds included fragments of tile, coins, and sherds of amphora, Upchurch and Samian wares. Nothing more is known and there is no evidence, which survives, of any Roman features.(1)
