Monument record TR 34 NE 245 - Probable Late Neolithic-Early Bronze Age Site, Ringwould, Kingsdown
Summary
A high concentration of lithic material including eighteen end-scrapers, a side scraper and a re-chipped polished axe. Also found were fragments of prehistoric pottery (one Beaker sherd), a few marine shells (limpet and periwinkle) and a fragment of probable quernstone. The density of material on this well defined ridge suggests that this was an occupation site.
