Full Description
An assemblage of flint probably later bronze age, but may have early bronze age and later neolithic residual pieces mixed with it which could have washed down the valley sides. The debitage is predominantly hard hammer-struck and a mixute of medium and broad types. Implements recovered compised twenty-one end-scrapers, six side-scrapers, one hollow scraper, three notched flakes and two piercers. A high proportion of the implements have cortex remaining.
There was a continuous scatter of flint flakes along the route of the water pipeline.(1)
