Monument record TR 34 NE 253 - Possible Prehistoric Gully, Ringwould

Summary

A section of gully with steep sides and a flat or dished base. The fill produced thirty prehistoric struck flints and a small undiagnostic flint-tempered pot sherd. The general character of the gully and the finds recovered suggest that this is a prehistoric feature although its exact date is uncertain. It is possible that it formed some part of an outer work to the nearby undated crop-mark enclosure (TR 34 NE 59).
