Summary

A disused well of probable 19th century date was uncovered during a watching brief at Pleasant Row, Brompton, Gillingham. The Well comprised a circular construction of brown bricks, with no visible bonding material or recognised coursing pattern. It had a diameter of 1.2m and a surviving depth of 2.7m.
