A number of linear features interpreted as brickearth, sand and clay, quarries. (1-2) A total of twenty-three possible quarries were identifed. The presence of deposits of over-fired brick rubble in some features suggests that brick making was taking place nearby, although no evidence of actual clamp kilns were found. It is thought that the quaries were in use sometime between the late 16th and mid 18th centuries. (3)
