Full Description

A number of residual flints of mesolithic or early neolithic date were recovered from middle bronze age features under East Hall Wood [TQ 96 NW 220]. The surrounding area had been heavily truncated by brickearth extraction. The flints demonstrate activity in the area in the mesolithic or early neolithic, although probably still only in the form of a short-term visitation. [1].
