Summary

Early medieval features observed during Wessex excavations at Kingsborough Manor. Interpreted as boundary ditches. Later Saxon features , interpreted as field boundaries, point to agriculatural use. A north-south and east-west aligned group of small ditches, appearing to form a rectilinear pattern.
