The lower part of a bronze, pegged, leaf-shaped spearhead was found at an unspecified site in Aylesford in October 1984. The item measures 3.5ins x 1.625ins (8.89cm x 4.13cm). The peg holes are slightly off centre and the edges show no sign of grinding. The type is common from the late middle Bronze Age throughout the late Bronze Age.

Full Description
TQ 736586. The lower part of a bronze, pegged, leaf-shaped spearhead was found by Mr P Atkins in October 1984. The fragment measures 3.5 in x 1.625 in max., the peg holes are slightly off-centre and the edges show no sign of grinding. The type appears in the last (Penard)phase of the Middle Bronze Age and is common throughout the Late Bronze Age. (1)
