Findspot record TQ 75 NW 70 - Stone adze or hoe found in 1975 at Aylesford

Summary

In August 1975 a stone perforated adze or hoe was found in the garden of 107 Hall Road. Its length is 5.375 in. (13.6 cm) and its width 3.125 in. (7.94cm). The stone was sectioned at The British Museum by Dr A R Woolley. It proved to be an ungrouped type of stone, possibly Cornish in origin.
