Summary
In August 1975 a stone perforated adze or hoe was found in the garden of 107 Hall Road. Its length is 5.375 in. (13.6 cm) and its width 3.125 in. (7.94cm). The stone was sectioned at The British Museum by Dr A R Woolley. It proved to be an ungrouped type of stone, possibly Cornish in origin.

Full Description
TQ 725583. A stone perforated adze, or hoe, was found in the garden of 107 Hall Road by Mr D R Hawkins in August 1975; length 5.375 in, width at shaft hole 3.125 in. Such implements are usually late Neolithic to early Bronze Age in date. The stone was sectioned at the British Museum by Dr A R Woolley and it proved to be an ungrouped type of stone, possibly Cornish in origin. (1)
