Full Description
In late November and early December 2006 a watching brief took place during a development at land rear of 49 London Road, Sevenoaks. The only archaeological feature found was a brick-lined and domed 19th century well.
The well was 1.2 m in diameter and more than 2 m deep. The top of the structure was domed with a modern capping. It was built of mortared yellow brick and probably contemporary with the construction of the former building at 49 London Road.(1)
