Full Description
A large number of coins found in the parish of Edenbridge have been examined and fourteen are clearly identifiable as Roman. Twelve, findspots unknown, range in date from c.14AD - c 341 AD. The majorityof the coins were found by Mr Weston who died in 1959 and left no notes. He is said to have regularly searched building sites and found most of the coins in that manner.
