Full Description
In c.2004 Archaeology South-East carried out a watching brief and excavated features found during this at Lydd 14, Lydd Quarry. A rectangular enclosure c.15m x 40m with ditches up to 3.2m wide and 1.1m deep with openings at opposite ends. No dating evidence was recovered from these but they lay below a medieval flood deposit.
