Full Description
The site consisted of a dispersed group of features containing many Late Iron Age to Mid Roman period potsherds. There were a number of areas of charcoal spreads and surface burning of the clay, possibly hearths and pits of unknown function containing many potsherds. Two narrow parallel ditches, probable field boundaries and two urned cremation burials, the vessels both dating to the Early to Mid Roman period (1).
