Monument record TR 36 NW 430 - Roman inhumation cemetery, Margate

Summary

Evlauation trenches exposed part of a Roman Cemetry which cosisted of 4 inhumations aligned east/west with the head to the west in grave D. The grave cuts were enclosed by a possible fence. Two iron nails were retrieved and identified as being of Roman origin.
