Monument record TQ 75 NW 93 - Fishpond at The Friary, Aylesford

Summary

There is what appears to be a large, tidal fishpond at Aylesford Friary. It may be a natural pond with a feeding channel running from the river and controlled by a sluice. The western end has been filled in with waste gravel and the pond is now an ornamental feature.
