Full Description

A very small assemblage of finds was collected during a watching brief at former council buildings, and during insertion of services at Springfield. Finds included abraded post-medieval pottery, animal bone, and clay pipe fragments, and indicated a post-medieval date for all layers examined. A single sherd of prehistoric pottery was abraded, and came from a deposit with later pottery. The pottery is considered to be re-deposited. (1)
