The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5272 BETHERSDEN OLD SURRENDEN MANOR ROAD Weatherboarded barn to north-west of Old Surrenden Manor TQ 94 SE 15/47A II 2. C18 or earlier L-shaped building. Faced with tarred weatherboarding. Hipped tiled roof with projecting hip over the waggon entrance in the centre of the north front of the west wing.
