The following text is from the original listed building designation:
APPLEDORE COURT LODGE ROAD 1. 5272 (south side) No 4 (The Well House) TQ 9529 15/2 II GV 2. C13. Two storeys attics and cellar. In the cellar is a well from which the present name derives. Red brick. Tiled roof with 2 gabled dormers. Dentilled wooden eaves cornice. One modern bay. One round-headed window. Porch with pediment.
