1. 1715 WEST CROSS (North Side)
No 4/6 TQ 8733 SE 2/61A

2. Late C18. 3 storeys timber-framed faced with alternate bands of plain and curved tiles. Hipped tiled roof with bracket eaves cornice. 2 sashes set in moulded architraves with glazing bars intact. Later shopfront.
Nos 2 & 4/6 West Cross form a group with Nos 138 to 142 (even) High Street.
The descriptive notes should be amended to read :
No 4.Late C18. 3 storeys timber-framed faced with alternate bands of plain and curved tiles. Hipped tiled roof with bracket eaves cornice. 2 sashes set in moulded architraves with glazing bars intact. Later shopfront. No. 6. Early to Mid C19. 3 storeys. The eastermost two thirds is of red brick, the westermost third tile hung hipped slate roof. 3 sashes with glazing bars intact with cambered heads or head linings to 1st floor windows. Later shop- front. Included for group value.
