2. A C15 timber-framed house close-studded, the 1st floor originally jettied but now partly underbuilt in brick. 2 storeys. Half-hipped tiled roof with tile hung gables and central brick stack. 3 casement windows with small square panes, are on the 1st floor being an oriel window projecting on 3 brackets. Obtusely pointed doorway with carved spandrels.
Ebony Cottage, Wellbro Cottage, Skeers House & Old Barrack Farm form a group.
