The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TQ 93 SE WAREHORNE CHURCH ROAD (south side) 5/155 Chest tomb to Hodges family, about 15 metres south of church of St. Matthew GV II Chest tomb. Thomas Hodges and family, early C18. Low chest with simple inscribed side panels and moulded top slab on enriched piers, the corner piers with ribband and skull and floriate patterns.
