Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
TR 03 SW BILSINGTON THE CROSS (south-west side) 6/65 The White Horse GV II Public house. Late C18 and mid C19. Painted brick and plain tiled roof. Three parallel ranges. Two 2 storey hipped ranges to right, with stacks to centre and to left, the right hand block recessed slightly. Tripartite glazing bar sash on each floor of each range, those to right of smaller dimension and with segmental heads. Half- glazed door to centre right in plain doorway. C19 range to left, recessed slightly, the 2 storeyed gabled roadside elevation with 1 blank window space and 1 sash on each floor. Two semi-dormers and 2 sashes to left return. Iron sign bracket to end left, and flag pole with iron bracket to centre left. Tripartite glazing bar sashes to rear elevation. Interior: bar altered.
