Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5272 PLUCKLEY THE STREET (south-west side) Yew Tree Cottage (Nos 1 to 4 (consec)) TQ 9245 27/7 14.2.67. II GV 2. L-shaped block with a C18 exterior, but the south cottage and probably the whole block is older beneath this. Two storeys red brick and grey headers, the south-east wall of the south cottage faced with stone rubble on the ground floor and tile-hung above. Hipped tiled roof. Dering windows. Five windows facing north-east and 2 windows facing south-east. Two doorways with round-headed tympana, having painted keyblocks at their angles and heads. Other doorcases on side elevations.
