The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5272 GREAT CHART GOLDWELL LANE Little Goldwell Farmhouse TQ 9641 24/54 II 2. Probably a C17 or earlier timber-framed building refronted. Two storeys. Ground floor red brick, first floor hung with fishscale tiles. Hipped tiled roof, with clustered chimneystack and 3 gabled dormers having bargeboards and pendants. Casement windows.
