The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5272 HOTHFIELD BETHERSDEN ROAD Lodge to Hothfield Place TQ 94 SE 15/27 II 2. Early to mid C19. Two storeys stuccoed. Hipped tiled roof and wide eaves cornice. Three sashes with glazing bars intact. Left side elevation has some blanks. Pilasters run through both storeys. Porch with round-headed arch.
