The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5272 EGERTON LOWER STREET Hill Dale TQ 94 NW 10/9 II 2. C16 or earlier. Two storey timber-framed cottage now tile-hung, but the first floor of the north front oversailing on the protruding ends of the floor joists and brackets. Hipped tiled roof. Three casement windows.
