The following text is from the original listed building designation:
BIDDENDEN 1. 5272 Medhurst TQ 83 NW 3/115 16.8.62. II 2. C16 or earlier timber-framed building of 2 storeys with plaster infilling on the lst floor of the north wall which oversails on the protruding ends of the floor joists, brackets and a corner post, the ground floor refaced with red brick. The other fronts have been refaced with red brick on the ground floor and tile hung above but the 1st floor of the west wall also oversails. Brick chimneybreast also to this wall. Tiled roof steeply pitched at one end. The north elevation has 3 original mullioned window openings. The other windows are modern casements.
