The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5272 EGERTON BEDLAM LANE Box Farmhouse TQ 84 NE 9/48 II 2. T-shaped building. Probably C17 timber-framed building refaced with red brick and grey headers, except the east wing which is faced with tarred weatherboarding. Hipped tiled roof with pentice at the east end of the north and south fronts. Three casement windows.
