The following building was de-listed on 7th March 2001.
1715 SMALLHYTHE ROAD
(East Side)
Summerhill
TQ 83 SE 3/80 8.5.50.
II
A large house built in 3 sections at 2 different periods. The north section
is C17. 2 storeys. Ground floor red brick, above tile-hung. 2 windows.
The centre section is also C17 but much altered. 3 storeys. Now fronted
with stucco on the ground floor and with curved tiles above. Pilasters
of quoins at the sides and in the centre of this section (but cut away
on the ground floor). 2 casement windows on the 1st and 2nd floors with
their original diamond panes. Modern windows below. The south section
is Mid C19. 2 storeys red brick. Modillion eaves cornice and smringcourse.
to sashes with glazing bars intact.
