House. Early C17, altered c.1700. Painted brick in Flemish bond on painted ragstone, with exposed red brick to return and rear elevations, in part in Header bond. Plain tiled roof. Two storeys and attic on plinth, with plat band and wooden eaves cornice to hipped roof with 2 hipped dormers and stacks to end left and to end right. Three tripartite wooden casements on 1st floor and 2 on ground floor with segmental heads. Central door of 6 raised and fielded panels on hipped porch with sidelights. Single storey hipped extension recessed on right return with boarded door and wooden casement. The brickwork exposed to left return and rear is consistent with a date formerly visible on the house (1630). Described by Hasted (1799) as 'a very handsome brick house'.
