An antoninianus of Allectus was recently found at East Farleigh. 2,500 feet NW of St. Mary's Church; It is in the possesion of Mr. K. Etheridge of Maidstone. (1) [TQ 72815377] Coin of Allectus (1950-51) (2) Mrs. K. Etheridge, formerly of 83 Milton Street, has recently moved and her present address is not known. Her former employer (a), however, remembers the finding of this coin which was at the bottom of the field which contains the site of a Roman building (TQ 75 SW 8). No details regarding the axe are recorded at Maidstone Museum but Mr. Oliver thought it was a flint axe but he could not give any further information on date of finding or exact provenance.
