TR 04 SE MERSHAM HINXHILL ROAD (south side)
4/130 Oasthouse about 75 metres south east of Quarrington
GV II
Oast house. Mid C19. Red brick and plain tiled roof. Two storey and loft stowage with 2 buttress-strips with gabled roof extended over truncated roundel. Three wooden casements on 1st floor, 2 on ground floor, with boarded door to right, all with segmental heads. Right return with boarded doors to 1st floor (with ladder-stair) and to loft, with semi-circular opening over. Included for group value.
