TR 04 SE HASTINGLEIGH TAMLEY LANE (East Side)
4/85 Wall about 25-50 GV metres south west of South Hill
II
Wall. Mid C18. Red brick on ragstone base. About 7 feet high, on stone plinth, with coping. about 20 metres in length, and canted, and terminated by piers, about 8 feet high, with ball finnals. The pier at southern end retains the bonding marks for an eastward projecting wall presumably never built. The gate and piers to south are mid C20 by Arthur Cotton of Hythe, with C18 urns placed on top of the piers, excellently detailed.
